We discovered this restaurant more than 30 years ago and loved it then. We visited the French Quarter in some time, and went for New Years. Imagine our surprise when we rediscovered it on New Years Day. We had to wait about 45 minutes, but it was worth it. The food is still excellent, and the Mona Lisas on the walls have become more quirky over time. Fun service, nice wine list, and fairly priced especially with the quality of food. The new owners haven't diminished anything the conversion. I highly recommend.

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED. There was a 30 minute wait and it is now clear why. Mona Lisa has ruined Italian food for me, everything was phenomenal. Raven our server was amazing, very bubbly and helped us decide what to order, as everything sounded good. We ordered the bruschetta and tapenade appetizers and I am not kidding when I say that was the best bruschetta I have had in my life. For dinner we had the Pasta Nonna, and Veal Parmigiana and the garlic bread, I can’t even begin to state how incredible the food was. Not only was this the best tasting food we have had, but somehow also the most reasonably priced. For 3 appetizers and 2 entrees and 2 soft drinks, it was comparable to our breakfast in cost, but obliterated it in quality and quantity. We had so much food I had to take some home! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, 1,000,000/10 would recommend and if I come back to New Orleans it will absolutely be a required stop!

A local place that my family has been going to for years and years. Everything on the menu is amazing and hasn't changed for good reason. The atmosphere is great and if you do have to wait they will send you on over to a local place for drinks while you do. Highly recommend the cheese bread that comes with salads and their specialty Mona Lisa pizza.

We were walking down the streets for Halloween and came across this little hidden gem of a restaurant. Super friendly greeter waitress was awesome food was excellent. They embrace the theme of Mona Lisa with pictures all over the wall. The menu is pretty stereotypical as far as Italian restaurants go it's got all your favorites. Even though it was Halloween night we got on the list they were calling us within 30 minutes.

Cozy and great atmosphere with lots of Mona Lisa variations. I bet one of them is real and they hide it this way. Lasagna was delicious. Worth the wait. Definitely more wait time then they say.

This is by far, the best, cozy, little Italian place. Loaded with personality, flavor and enchanting atmosphere, it makes any occasion special, even if it's a regular Wednesday. Can't say enough good things about the staff and the food is so good you will expect it to break the bank. It won't. You will be back!

I heard this place might close and I’ve never been so I headed over. It was great, very cute little spot. I got the shrimp diavola which was outstanding as were the stuffed mushrooms. Also the prices were very reasonable! Cute atmosphere and attentive staff.

Loved the decor and menus! The food was amazing, I definitely recommend the meat lasagna! The tiramisu was also delicious. Service was excellent and prices are quite reasonable. I recommend you get there right when they open to avoid a line/wait list, however, it's worth the wait!
